Baystate Health
Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA is a 653-bed academic medical center and the Western campus of Tufts University School of Medicine. It is also the region’s only tertiary care referral medical center and Level I Trauma Center.
Radiology & Imaging radiologists manage and interpret the imaging studies in the Department of Radiology for Baystate, and we provide high quality education for Tufts medical students and radiologists in training. R&I radiologists direct the Radiology Residency program, including supervision of resident interpretation in all modalities of medical imaging, academic conferences, and research.
Radiology & Imaging also has a partnership with Baystate Health in providing out-patient radiology at Baystate Radiology & Imaging. The partnership was established to better reach out into the community and make our services more convenient. Imaging is available at four locations: 325 King Street in Northampton, 294 North Main Street in East Longmeadow, 470 Granby Road in South Hadley, and 113 Elm Street in Enfield, CT.

Mary Lane Hospital is a nationally recognized community hospital located in Ware and serves Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester counties. Radiology & Imaging radiologists read all radiology studies at the hospital including trauma cases, inpatient and outpatient imaging as well as pediatric exams. The fully staffed emergency department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and pledges to see patients in 30 minutes or less. Mary Lane Hospital received a National Quality Key Measures Award from the Joint Commission for surgical pneumonia care—one of only six hospitals in the state and among the top 14% nationally to receive the award.
